Egg production
Table eggs supplied to household, retail and business customers, with expansion of the layer operation central to our growth plan.
From our established poultry farm in the Volta Region, we are developing a connected agricultural business across production, inputs, processing, farmer partnerships and market access.
From its farm in Abutia Adegblevi, EL Giga supplies poultry products and is developing additional ways to serve food buyers and agricultural producers.
EL Giga has operated commercially since 2020. The business reports historical capacity of up to 45,000 birds and management-reported turnover of approximately US$750,000 in 2025.
Following a market-led scale-down in 2025, the farm placed approximately 5,000 layers in June 2026. JUKO Foods, a separate trading company, provides an additional route to market for poultry products.

Eggs, chicken and feed capabilities anchor the company’s current business and planned expansion.

A proposed 2-tonne-per-hour commercial feed mill designed to serve EL Giga and other poultry farms. Equipment selection and financing are being developed.
Abutia and Hodzo have distinct expansion targets. The figures below are planned capacities, not current production. Investment will be phased against commercial demand, financing and operating readiness.
Planned expansion of the established layer operation at Abutia Adegblevi.
Separate monthly broiler output target for the existing Abutia farm.
Additional poultry production is proposed alongside Hodzo’s livestock and processing plans.
Hodzo’s development concept includes a 1,000-goat enterprise and a poultry-processing plant targeting 500 birds per hour. Other opportunities include hot peppers, treated manure for soil nutrition and an envisaged maize network of 700 farmers in Sissala East.
EL Giga’s existing poultry operations anchor an emerging model that links producer supply, agricultural inputs, product handling and market fulfilment.
Bird’s eye chilli, Legon 18 and other high-value crops are being assessed for domestic sales and potential specification-led export supply.
Appropriately treated livestock manure could support soil fertility and help reduce some crop nutrient costs.
Proposed farmer partnerships would connect participating growers to structured demand, with JUKO Foods providing a separate trading and distribution channel.
Horticulture and export supply networks remain development opportunities; no overseas supply contracts or export certifications are implied.

Following the 2025 glut, we established JUKO Foods to concentrate on marketing and distribution of the farm’s products. JUKO also works with independent producers, connecting a wider supply network with buyers and helping align production with demand.
JUKO Foods operates as a separate trading business. Its sales and producer network are distinct from EL Giga’s own production revenue.
